Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been won on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden championship for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a former number one, has endured a torrid season, achieving just a single victory at the major tournaments and undergoing a meltdown at the US Open.
His varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serve in particular - led to him dropping out of the world's top 10 and finally separating with long-term coach Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently advanced in the last few weeks - climaxing in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's first trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard surface after March of the previous year.
The win also indicates Medvedev has achieved 21 titles at twenty-one different events.
"For the first time I am participating in a event with my two daughters together, so to secure a championship is particularly special," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had lost his past six championship matches, featuring in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving play style and recurring reactions on the tennis court had led some to wonder if his capacity to compete at the elite level was concluded.
But the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to approach the net and perform positively, reinforced by an improved service.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the first set against the tricky Moutet, securing 4 of the final five games to go ahead.
The competitors swapped breaks in the second set before Moutet, striving for his maiden professional title, took control to push for a final set.
The opponent rescued 4 early chances in a close deciding set before Medvedev won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev clinched the win with a rally at the net, with Moutet failing to manage a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
